Les missions
The Data Analyst starts by collecting raw data from various sources (databases, applications, etc.). Its objective is to clean this data to make it usable, eliminating inconsistencies, duplicates, or errors. It then uses analytics tools to extract meaningful information from that data.
Once the data is processed, it analyzes it using statistical and modeling techniques to identify trends, patterns, or correlationships that can inform strategic business decision-making. For example, it can analyze consumer buying behaviors, the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, or the performance of products and services.
The Data Analyst is also responsible for presenting results in a clear and understandable manner, often using visualizations such as interactive dashboards, charts, and reports. It communicates its findings to decision-makers (managers, directors, etc.) to enable them to make informed decisions.
In addition, it contributes to the improvement of internal processes by identifying optimization opportunities through its analyses. The Data Analyst may be required to work on specific projects or to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to help the company achieve its goals.
In summary, the Data Analyst transforms raw data into usable information that allows the company to better understand its performance, to anticipate changes and to define strategies based on reliable facts and analyses.
