Les missions

The mission of the Ergonomist is to improve the working conditions of employees by designing spaces and tools that promote their comfort and efficiency. It assesses the needs of users, whether it is a workstation, a specific tool, or a global environment, and suggests adjustments to prevent musculoskeletal disorders, accidents, and stress.

It is involved in the design of workspaces (offices, workshops, etc.) by analysing the interaction between man, machine and environment. Its role is also to train and raise awareness among employees and employers in good ergonomic practices, in order to improve both safety and well-being at work.

An Ergonomist may have to work with experts in occupational health, risk management, and HR managers to integrate their recommendations into company policies. It also follows the evolution of safety standards and ergonomic practices to implement innovative and effective solutions.

Its ultimate objective is to enable employees to work in optimal conditions while increasing their productivity and reducing absenteeism related to work-related health problems.
