Les missions

The Business Intelligence Analyst monitors the business environment in order to detect strategic opportunities and threats. It is responsible for collecting relevant information on competitors, technological innovations, market developments, geopolitical risks, and new regulations. Its role is essential in providing a global and prospective vision of the competitive environment.

To do this, it uses data monitoring and analysis tools to gather and sort information from various sources, such as public reports, market studies, press articles, or social networks. For example, as part of an international expansion project, he could analyze the economic and political conditions of a target country to assess risks and opportunities.

Once the data is collected, it performs a thorough analysis to identify trends, threats, and strategic opportunities. It then compiles its results into detailed reports and strategic recommendations for company decision makers, helping them to guide their choices based on up-to-date and relevant knowledge of their sector.

In addition, it contributes to the development of an information culture within the company, by making teams aware of business intelligence practices and by ensuring the confidentiality of the data collected.

The Economic Intelligence Analyst must demonstrate great rigor and a capacity for synthesis. It operates in an environment where information is a valuable resource, and its ability to discern and anticipate market developments is crucial to ensure a competitive advantage for the company.
